Introduction to Watercolor Painting 

FREE virtual workshop 

In this virtual workshop, learn the basics of watercolor painting from artist Stephanie Han. Follow along to Stephanie's demo and ask questions in real time during our zoom workshop. 

Instructor 
Stephanie Han 

Stephanie was born in 1971 in Seoul, S. Korea, and immigrated to the U.S. in 1978. She obtained her BFA degree from the Laguna College of Art & Design in 1995 and her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 1999. She's been working as a graphic design professional, fine artist and illustrator for over 20 years. She lives and works in Long Beach.

The following are materials we will be using in the workshop. They are recommended but not required. Use what you have and have fun!:

  • Small pad of watercolor paper 6x8" or similar size

  • Size 10 round watercolor brush

  • Set of watercolor paints

  • 2 small containers of water

  • Paper Towels

  • Blue painters tape (1" wide) or other low-tack tape

  • Hair Dryer

 

We will also be handing out a limited amount of art kits with basic materials for this workshop. Please reserve a kit ONLY if you need it. You can reserve a kit by emailing flatlinegallery@gmail.com.
