HENRY ADAMS

I use portraiture and landscape painting as grounds to construct spaces that let ife and technology interact. Drawing from traditional art history, theory, and science fiction, I render metal, flesh, and earth to become a chimeric being that exists within a domain where the mechanical is inseparable to the natural . Wires, roots, and veins spin together within the worlds and bodies, creating visuals of feedback loops grasping for engagement with life. The narrative imagery of these scenes question the human pursuit of accelerating surveillance and mechanization by envisioning how technology's soft inheritance may unfold.
